There are so many exhibitions and events set for 2018, but I have picked out a few of my must see’s.

Reflections: Van Eyck and the Pre-Raphaelites’ is an exhibition I will definitely be going to see. I have always loved the PRB, their variety of inspirations and ways of seeing and painting differ for each member, yet they all had one thing in common: the belief that precise representations of humble and everyday subjects was a form of high art and had a purpose in being represented. Review: America after the Fall: Painting in the 1930’s, RA.

A day out for me and my husband in London is a busy yet somehow relaxing one. We took a slow walk to Burlington House to see the new American art exhibition, then we took a stroll through Soho, saw the Tom Cribb pup, which I got ridiculously overexcited by after seeing it on David Olusoga’s BBC series, then we went to some comic book stores, and finally in the evening we saw Bill Bailey at the Leicester Square Theatre which was amazing.
